Counter-Strike has been for years by now. Released in 2003, CS has know many different game modes, apart from the original default ones! In fact, today after 16 years, cs 1.6 still have an active and consistently developed and new game modes. Well , after all that's because of the custom game addons which allow everyone to add his own finger-print to the game and create something new!

Classic Mode:
This the basic mode of the game. In fact, it's the most played mode and funniest one that you can play!
Classic mode is about a terror action, which terrorist need to plant a bomb and protect it until it explode. However, by the end of the round, even if all the terrorists are killed by the CT (Counter-Terrorist) team, they will win if the bomb is successfully exploded, as it's the main objective of this team!
In the other hand, Counter-Terrorists (CTs) have the objective of preventing them! Their main objective at the start of the round is to protect the bomb sites and prevent the terrorists of planting the bomb. However, if the bomb is successfully planted in any way, their new objective is to defuse it!
So, if we want to make it more clean and simple. The two main objectives of this mode is exploding the bomb for Terrorists and defusing the bomb for Counter-Terrorists...

Zombie Plague Mode:
Without any doubt, this is the most known and played zombie mode of the game. Built back in 2008, and fastly became a players magnet! Until today, ZP mode still attracting the most of Counter-Strike players.
The game mode is based in the simple idea of zombies attack, but with a big variety and diversity of the mods. It become more funny, creative and surely attractive!
This mod itself have a default of 6 default game modes and some other customizable modes. Which make it a new game itself! The basic game mode is the classic mode, and it's about normal and the most known zombie idea. A first infected zombie that attack to infect more humans and pass the infection to each one of them... The game ends by the win of humans if they survive until the end of the round. Or by the win of zombies if they succed by infecting all the humans and killing the last one!

Hostages Rescue:
This is another default game mode of the game. As the name says, this mode is about the rescue of taken hostages!
So, this is the main objective for counter-terrorists. As simple as making sure to take out the hostages that were taken by the Terrorist. Yet, another terror and funny mode to play and try online or even offline.
The round starts by giving advantage to the terrorists team. Which they will find themselves next right to the hostages, if they attack or kill them they will lost money and point. In fact, if that repeat so often, the player will be kicked or banned from the server (as a way to protect the game)
In that time, Counter-Terrorist will have to either eliminate all the terrorist team or to rescue the hostages by taking them to the rescue zone! If nothing of that happens, they will lose and the terrorists team will be considered as the winners!
Base Builder:
Yet, this is another zombies game mode. But this mode is totally different from Zombie Plague one. This one is about building bases and hiding from zombies, it's a real fun and gives the players a good opportunity to use their creativity by creating many different bases!
The mode have 3 phases, a building phase, preparation and defend phases. The mode contains two different team: builders, and they are humans, which they need to built bases using different movable and limited pieces of the map to build their own bases as a 2 to 3 persons teams! And another Team of zombies, with the main objective of getting into human bases in the defend phase and kill them!
At the end of the building phase, it comes the preparation phase which is made to make sure that the human bases are accessible by the zombies. And that by respawning humans and preventing them to move blocks anymore. If the base is inaccessible, it will be for everyone!
After the preparation phase, humans should be already hiding in their bases. So, the zombies will be released and the defend phase will start! This is the main idea of the base builder counter strike mode, it is worth to try, and funny to play. Give it a shot...
